dguard honoured with the MOTORRAD Innovation Award 2021
For the second time, a prize for the most innovative innovation in the motorbike market was also awarded as part of the MOTORRAD readers' poll. On 29 March 2021, we received the award as the winner.

On behalf of the entire team, I would like to thank you for awarding our dguard with the Innovation Award 2021. The topic of 'intelligent emergency call' has earned strong attention and we are pleased that we can contribute to a safe future for motorcyclists with dguard. Our intelligent emergency call system has already been in use for five years and you can be sure: More innovations will follow in the future.
This time, the Innovation Award focused on the topic of "intelligent emergency call systems". On the one hand, we are proud of what we have achieved and of being an award winner. On the other hand, we are taking the opportunity to look back at 2016: about 5 years ago, we launched our dguard as the "pioneer of automatic emergency call systems for motorbikes". In a market that has changed rapidly since then: Airbag waistcoats are as much a part of everyday life for many riders as cornering ABS and - just in case - an automatic emergency call system. In order to develop exactly what motorcyclists really need right from the start, we tested dguard intensively with motor sports enthusiasts, recreational motorcyclists and on ourselves, added further functions such as theft warning and a tour diary and now offer the little lifesaver at dealers such as alphaTechnik, LOUIS and Wunderlich.
More innovations will follow in the future, and our team is already working flat out on new ideas that will make motorcyclists' lives easier, safer and more comfortable.
